     As a student I have used Microsoft Word a lot. I have used the program to type essays, speeches, and a great variety of other assignments. Word has assisted me in being able to create things to print to decorate projects such as my poster boards and presentations. My teachers have used word a lot as well. They have often used it to type up print outs for the students or to create a page to project that helps with their lesson. Overall, Microsoft Word has had a great impact on my educational career and I know it will continue to be useful throughout the rest of my schooling. After school, I hope that I can help my future students learn to operate Microsoft Word in ways that will be helpful to their educational careers as well.      Throughout school I have seen examples of copyright and fair use of materials.      Blog #1      There are several factors that influence teachers and students to use technology in the classroom. One of the main factors is the increasing usage of technology in our society. Technology is a necessity to know how to use in today’s times and is an easier way for teachers to relate to and teach students. Teachers also have to know how to use technology in the classroom because they are responsible for teaching the future generation the basic technological skills they need to know now and will need to know for their future. This leads to another one of the main reasons that influences student usage of technology in the classroom, and that is so they can learn how to use all of these things. The increase of technology usage I mentioned previously is going to continue to grow. As it grows, these students need to be prepared to know how to use it and the teachers need to be technologically literate in order to properly teach them...

     Prior to this class, my experiences with technology has been limited. I participate  in the typical activities, such as using my phone or using my computer for homework. However, I generally do not enjoy using technology and it is not a strength of mine. For high school, I took the required computer competency  class, but it was just to teach you things such as Word, PowerPoint , etc. Overall, I do not enjoy technology and my experiences are limited beyond basic uses.       In this class I hope to learn more about technology in general. I know there are a lot of skills that I can improve on when it come to technology. I also hope that this class will show me ways to use technology in my future career. In general, I would just like to increase my knowledge on technology and the things you are capable of doing   with  it.       I learned a lot about my learning style by taking the online quiz today.
